2019 Fantasy Football Preview- Top 3 Sleepers From Every Position

2019 will be the year several players have their breakthroughs. I see a few sleepers that could have MVP caliber seasons, and others who can be solid late round fantasy pick ups.
QB
1- Carson Wentz
Carson Wentz is really good; like really fucking good. If he can avoid injuries, he could easily be a top 5 quarterback in this league. With some of the best weapons in the league to back him up, I could see Wentz have an MVP caliber season.
2-Derek Carr
I’ve always liked Carr; he’s always been a solid backup fantasy qb. This year, I think he’s gonna finally move up and have a breakout season. Adding Antonio Brown will help Carr and the Raiders offense will thrive this season, if he even plays. I even think Hunter Renfrow will add some support to Carr. Look out for Carr as a late round qb1 pick or as a solid backup.
3- Sam Darnold
I used to hate this guy. Since he crushed Penn State in the rose bowl, I’ve thought Sam Darnold was the ugliest QB in the world. I hate to say it, but Darnold will be a solid quarterback in this league. With a back like Leveon Bell to throw screens to, expect Darnold to put up numbers. Robby Anderson is going to have a breakout year as well, and Darnold’s success is dependent on these 2 players having an elite season.

RB
1- David Montgomery
A rookie who is not Saquan Barkley is risky to take as a starting back, but I expect the Bears to use their new weapon quite a lot. Although I expect Tarik Cohen to put up numbers through the passing game, Montgomery will be the team’s ground back, and I expect him to be used a lot this season and in an effective manner.
2- Peyton Barber
I didn’t think Barber would be effective this season until I looked into the Bucs roster; they are trash. I expect Winston to throw at least 25 picks this season; if he even plays after the first few weeks. With the offense surrounding Mike Evans, who will be constantly double teamed, I expect Barber to get a lot of action and finally prove that he can be a solid fantasy back.
3- Leonard Fournette
Not necessarily a sleeper, but I expect Fournette to have a breakout season and prove that he can be a top tier back in this league. With Foles, I expect the Jags offense to be lethal, with the former LSU back being the center of it all.

WR
1- Christian Kirk
I think Kyler Murray is going to be a bust, but I expect Kirk to be his number one target. David Johnson will be the center of the Cardinals offense, and will have another season like he did 3 years ago. Fitzgerald is old, and won’t be the same. I expect Captain Kirk to be a solid receiver for years, and could be a solid backup this season.
2- Robby Anderson
With what I expect will be a solid season from Sam Darnold, I could see Robby Anderson having a solid season. The former Temple wideout can ball, and I expect him to have a breakout season alongside Darnold, and the Jets as a whole- they might not suck this year.
3- Demaryius Thomas and Josh Gordon
The Patriots have added some dirty weapons to their offense this season. With Tom Brady getting older, they can’t rely on him to put the team on his back. Thomas has not been the same since his breakout year in 2014, but with Tom Brady throwing him the ball, I expect him to make a comeback. The veteran wideout will miss the first since games, but would be a great late round pick or IR slotted player.
Gordon is a bad boy, and is suspended again. He disappointed me greatly last season, but I’d give him another shot if I can snag him late in the draft. If he is able to appeal his suspension early in the season, he could be a solid backup receiver in fantasy.

TE
1- Dallas Goedert
The Eagles are going to take full advantage of their insanely talented tightend core. The birds are going to use the 12 personal a lot, and I expect Goedert to be a top 10 TE in the league, without even being the best TE on his team. Dallas Goedert would be the number one tightend on any team but the Chiefs and Niners, and I expect him to put up numbers and have a solid season fantasying wise.
2- Mike Geisiki
I used to watch Geiskiki play at PSU, and the kid can ball. The Dolphins suck and don’t have many weapons, so I expect the tight end to put up at least 10 touchdowns. I like this player more in a non-ppr league, but he could be solid player in any league, as long as he lives up to his potential.
3- Austin Hooper
This kid brings me back to memories of Tony Gonzalez. There’s something about Falcons tight ends, and this one can ball. I think Hooper will be a top 5 tight end in this league, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this is his breakout season, as I expect Matt Ryan to have an MVP caliber season.

These aren’t all necessarily sleepers, as they’re all well known players, but I expect all of these individuals to have breakout seasons, establishing themselves as top fantasy players at their given positions.
