Not Black But Still Cool

The Sixers 2019/2020 throwback uniforms have been released, and people are upset they’re not the classic AI black and white threads.

I for one think we need to milk it a little more before bringing back these beauties. We retired these in 2009, and a 10 year anniversary jersey would be cool, but too soon. I say wait another 10 years. The people want it now, but the anticipation needs to grow until we absolutely need these uniforms and are foaming from the mouth thinking about them.

The only thing from that era I say bring back right now is Hip Hop. Fuck Franklin- why the fuck is our mascot a blue dog. I’d rather that racist creep Ben Franklin be our mascot; it just makes more sense. So why switch from a rabbit to a dog?

Please bring back the goat, Elton.

Like that’s the coolest mascot I’ve ever seen. Cooler than the Phanatic and Swoop. Fuck, i’d rather have Hip Hop than Gritty. I don’t know if I’m biased because I grew up going to games and getting entertained by the rabbit that could do dunks after flipping through the air, but we need Hip Hop back- yesterday.

I love these. So simple and so clean. The Sixers only wore these threads for half a season in 1970 and it couldn’t be a better time to bring them back. I can’t wait to see big Al suit up in one of these and drop 25 and 10 against the Celtics.
